We share your concern over the possible emergencies that can occur when your child is in our care at school. As Ohioans, we face the possibility of weather-related emergencies every the year. Global events can affect the routines of schools and families as well. The information you'll find here is chosen to help you as parents and us as educators work together as a team on behalf of your child's safety when emergencies arise.
As parents, you are a vital member of the entire educational process. In the event of a crisis, your actions and adherence to the information below will be critical to ensuring the safety of your student as well as other students in our buildings.
Adherence to the following recommendation will assist in preparation for a crisis:
    •    Maintain updated emergency information cards at the school. Any change in address, phone numbers, additional contacts should be reported to your child's school office.
Adherence to the following in the event of an emergency will ensure the safety of all students:
    •    Do not come directly to school. Wait to receive information from a phone call, web-site and/or news reports.
    •    In the event of a lockdown: Do not come to school. You will be notified and given directions for student dismissal.
    •    In the event of an evacuation on-site: Do not come to the school. The police will have blocked all entrances and will assist us to our off-site location. In this situation, students would be transported home by bus or released directly to parents. You will receive information as to the off-site location for our students and staff.
