AXA Achievement Scholarship – For students entering a two or December 15, 2007
four year college in the Fall of 2008, who demonstrate ambition
and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in an
activity in school, the community or the workplace and can be
recommended by an unrelated adult who can attest to the student’s

be an American Indian/Alaska Native, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander
or Hispanic, minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, ACT score of 24 or SAT
score of 1070 and be accepted in a four year matriculating degree
Robert A. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship January 9, 2008
College bound senior with at least a “B” average and a member of
the General Electric Federal Credit Union (students may join if they
qualify for membership). This scholarship has been set-up to encourage
and reward students who demonstrate a steadfast and long-serving
spirit of volunteerism.
Wal-Mart Foundation January 14, 2008
$1,000 scholarship. Minimum 2.5 GPA
Mensa Education and Research Foundation January 15, 2008
The Ohio State University Alumni Scholarship January 15, 2008
$600 minimum award, merit based scholarship – student must rank in the
top 25%(prefer 10%) of your class, demonstrate an involvement in school and
community activities and having a sound interest and positive attitude
towards college work. Must also have completed an admissions
application to The Ohio State University.
Cincinnatus XII Scholarship (University of Cincinnati) January 31, 2008
High Achieving Students who have completed the application process at UC
by December 15, 2007 will be invited to compete in the Cincinnatus XII
Scholarship Competition between 12/15 and 12/31/07. More information is
