If you need an official transcript with your scholarship application, please notify the Counseling Office one week ahead of the deadline. A resident of Ohio, U.S. Citizen, Diagnosed with cancer before age 21, Under age 25 at the time of application and plan to attend college in the United States. www.cancer.org/ohiogrants or OhioACS@cancer.org OACRAO Leadership and Service February 26, 2008 $500 award to students with a 2.75 (4.0 scale) GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, needs recommendations and a personal statement. www.ohioaacrao.org Ohio PTA $500 for students entering a four year College program; $500 for March 1, 2008 student entering a two year program and $500 for Special Needs students Sammy2008 March 7, 2008 $7,500 Award to outstanding student athletes. Awards are based on: Academic performance, athletic excellence, leadership and community service. Must apply online at: www.sammy.bodybymilk.com William D. Squires Scholarship April 5, 2008 $3,000 award (renewable) to student (primarily need-based). Minimum 3.20 (4.0 scale) GPA www.wmd-squires-foundation.org Vietnam Veterans Scholarship – Approved dependents of Vietnam April 10, 2008 Veterans, 2.0 (4.0 scale) GPA www.vva10.com The Winners Club Scholarship February 1 – Scholarship for student who is interested in a career in education April 15, 2008 Must have a 3.5 GPA (4.0 scale). Alexander Scholarship April 30, 2008 $1,000 award to academically worthy and financially eligible students. Must file FAFSA and present award letter.
