Congrats to our Finneytown cross country teams as they competed this past weekend at the CHL championships.  Our high school girls overcame a lot of adversity with Julia Germann suffering a concussion and McKenzie Jones a sprained ankle last week to finish 6th overall.  They were led by Julia Brueggemeyer who set a season record time and was name All-CHL honorable mention.  Our boys also finished 6th.  All of our boys team set overall personal records and were led by Joel Steimle who was named All-CHL 2nd team, followed closely by Senior Luke Brueggmeyer who was named ALL-CHL honorable mention.

Our middle school girls also finished 6th and were led by Allie Helmes who set a personal record and was named All-CHL honorable mention.  Our middle school boys finished 7th and were led by Brennan Jones who also set a personal record.

Come out to Colerain High School on Monday, Oct. 19, to support our middle school cross country teams in the All-City championship meet.  Also, come Voice of America park in Mason this coming Saturday, Oct. 24 to support our high school cross country teams in the District II championship.  Our girls are shooting for a 3rd straight regional appearance, and our boys are attempting to reach regionals as a team for the first time or to send some individual runners on.
