Welcome to Brent Elementary!

Oh, The Places They Went -- at Brent's Dr. Seuss Reading Night!

Posted on: April 8, 2016

Brent Elementary School opened its doors to kindergartners and preschoolers for a night devoted to literacy and, oh, the places they went -- to classrooms, the gym, the media center to remember what's so wonderful about reading!

More than 60 families took part in an evening of Cat-in-the-Hat hat-making, story-telling, and free Dr. Seuss books for all.

It was a warm introduction to school for students enrolled for kindergarten next year. The Finneytown Local School District is fortunate to be able to offer a K-2 elementary that is wholly focused on the early learner. Next fall, Brent Elementary will offer both half-day and full-day kindergarten programs.

To register, stop by the Finneytown Administrative Offices, 8916 Fontainebleau Terrace, on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both programs are academically rich and developmentally appropriate.

For registration, parents should bring: the child's birth certificate and immunization record; the parent's photo identification; evidence of lease or mortgage, and current utility bill.
