5 Things You Should Know about Homecoming

The fun starts soon:

              

  1. Festivities kick off Thursday, Oct. 1, with the Homecoming Parade at 6 p.m., starting from Northminster Presbyterian Church parking lot on Compton Road.

  2. Student and athletic groups: To reserve a spot in the parade, contact Athletic Director Michael Stevens at mstevens@finneytown.org by Sept. 29.

  3. After the parade, meet friends and neighbors at the community pep rally and bonfire on the practice field behind Finneytown High School.

  4. Friday, Oct. 2, pre-game community tailgating runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by the 7 p.m. football game against Reading.

  5. Saturday, Oct. 3, is the Homecoming Dance in the high school multi-purpose room. Students, tickets will be sold at lunch Monday through Thursday of Homecoming Week. (Student fees must be paid to purchase tickets; contact Ann Morey at 728-3700.) Parents, please contact Michael Stevens (email above) to chaperone.
