Cindy Rebman

Mrs. Rebman is serving as President of the Board for the 2018 school year. 

Term End: December, 2021

Mrs. Rebman is serving her third term on the Finneytown Board of Education (first term 2006 -2009; second term 2013-2017). She and her husband Mike moved to Finneytown in 1986. Their sons Matt (‘07) and Joe (‘09) each thrived while attending Finneytown schools, K through 12. Both have gone on to successfully complete degrees at universities.

Cindy received her Practical Nursing Certificate from Northern Ky. Health Occupations Center. She is currently employed at Wyoming HS as an Educational Assistant in the special services department. Cindy has spent many volunteer hours working with students and through PTA and FMPA activities. Cindy also co-chaired the 2004 operating levy campaign.

Cindy looks forward to her second term as a school board member and serving all students and families who choose Finneytown as their school district.

Tony Gast

Term Ends - December, 2019

Mr. Tony Gast is serving as Vice President for 2018.  He was elected to the Finneytown Board of Education in November, 2015 for a four year term.

Mr. Gast, a graduate of Indian Hill High School and Purdue University, is employed as a scientific developer at 84.51° in Cincinnati.  He and his family moved to Finneytown in 1992 and since then he has been an active volunteer in civic and school organizations.

He and his wife Dawn are parents of five Finneytown graduates and two current Finneytown students.  Mr. Gast is the former president of the Finneytown Music Parents Association and was the leader of equipment transportation for the marching band.  He is also a former FAA baseball, soccer and softball coach and serves as the Secondary PTA representative for Kroger Community Rewards.  Mr. Gast enjoys volunteering with the Special Riders program at Winton Woods Riding Center.

In 2014, Mr. Gast was honored with the Finneytown Elementary PTA “Friend of Children” Award.

Joyce Johnson

Term ends - December, 2019 

Ms. Johnson was elected to the Finneytown Board of Education in November 2015.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and recently retired from the Procter & Gamble Corporation after 25 years of service.

She is the parent of two current Finneytown students.  She and her family have lived in Finneytown since 2004.

Ms. Johnson finds great wisdom in Frederick Douglass's quote, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”  She is passionate about ensuring that all children have the resources needed to develop a foundation for long-term success.  She is excited about serving the Finneytown Local School District and helping to facilitate conversations that will lead to lasting change.
