Parent Access Guide to Progress Book
The Finneytown Local School District uses ProgressBook to manage student attendance and grades. Parents can use this tool to stay apprised of their children’s academic performance. While teachers’ individual procedures can vary, most update ProgressBook on a weekly basis.

Finneytown Truancy Policy (Brochure)
Effective September 2, 2000, the Ohio laws governing school attendance changed. Governor Taft was the driving force behind legal definitions of habitual and chronic truants and moved to eliminate the problems that cause truancy.

Start Talking Initiative
A new effort is underway across Ohio to prevent drug abuse among Ohio’s most vulnerable citizens – our children. Governor John R. Kasich and First Lady Karen W. Kasich have launched Start Talking!

2015-2016 Testing Schedule and Fact Sheet
Students in grades 3 - 8 and 9 - 12 will take Ohio State Tests in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies during the 2015-2016 school year.
