Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame honors those former faculty, graduates, and community members who made outstanding and generous contributions to our schools.

The Finneytown Hall of Fame has been established to recognize outstanding alumni, emeriti faculty and staff, and community members in the following areas:

• Athletics
• Performing and Visual Arts
• Career Achievement
• Contributions to school community
• Service Contributions
• Living Legends
• In Memoriam

Criteria to be considered when making a nomination include:
• Exemplary achievements while at Finneytown;
• Unselfish dedication to the Finneytown school community;
• Length and/or degree of service to the district;
• Exemplary post-high school/career activities and/or achievements.

Please note: Nominations of past students and faculty are limited to those persons who have graduated from or left employment of Finneytown five or more years ago.

We welcome nominations for the Finneytown Hall of Fame throughout the year.

The Finneytown Local School District announces the 2009 inductees to the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame has been established to recognize outstanding alumni, emeriti faculty and staff, and community members across several areas.

 

The inductees for this 2008 Hall of Fame are:

  • Athletics- Greg Deutsch (Class of 1977)
  • Career Achievement- Hon. Richard Bernat (Class of 1964)
  • Contributions to School and Community – Scott Steel (Class of 1975)
  • Contributions to School and Community – Randy Miller (Class of 1993)
  • Living Legend- Dr. William Steiden
  • Living Legend – Mrs. Merce Hershey
