The bounty of awards to Finneytown art students continues as the work of sophomore Bella Garcia and senior Annalise Barber is chosen for the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition in Columbus.

Bella's charming felted piece, "Sheep Grazing," and Annalise's striking self-portrait, "The Two Annalises," will be on display from April 23 to May 18 at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower across from the Capitol.

The exhibition, which is in its 47th year, drew 11,500 student entries from across the state. Annalise's and Bella's works were among just 3% of entries chosen for the show.

Ten Finneytown students had work chosen to compete at the state level. In addition to Annalise and Bella, they included Luke Kellett, Hannah Kirby, Maddie Martens, Ollie Orue, Ashleigh Smith, Denise Tepe, Calvin Viola and Kirstin Wobig.
