That's the magic behind a Finneytown Homecoming weekend, which takes place Sept. 22-24. Here's what's in store.

The festivities start with the Homecoming parade, which launches at 6 p.m., Sept. 22, from Northminster Presbyterian Church and ends at McNulty Stadium on the Secondary Campus in time for the lighting of the bonfire.

On Friday, Sept. 23, the community celebration -- tailgating, vendors, games, music -- starts at 5 p.m. on the Secondary Campus and wraps up in time for the 7 p.m. kick-off against rival Deer Park.

The weekend wraps up with the Homecoming dance at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. Tickets are on sale starting this week, before and after school and at lunch.

Here's the parade route from Northminster Presbyterian Church: Right out of church on Christopal Drive. Left on Woodview Drive. Right on Reynard Avenue. Right on Winton Road. Left on Fontainebleau Terrace and into the first drive at the Secondary Campus.
