SAT Words:

Starting on Monday, January 8th, a weekly SAT Word of the Week will be announced each afternoon.  If possible, please consider implementing this word into your classes.  There will be a cartoon picture that will be in your mailboxes and can be displayed in your classroom.  (If possible, consider extra credit points if a student uses the word correctly, make copies and let students color the cartoon or create their own.  The more the word is used, the better prepared our students will be for the SAT!

Next week's word will be COPIOUS. It is an adjective meaning "in abundant supply". Synonym: plentiful. Antonym: sparce. Etymology: Latin, "copia": meaning plenty.
