Senior parents, did you know?

SENIOR PARENT TO-DO LIST:

Monthly Treats:

Sign up for a particular month and -- with help from other parents -- provide individual treats for the class. Treats should be dropped off at the counseling offices by mid-month.  There are 102 seniors including vocational students, but please make a few extra treats. Our goal is to have at least three parents involved with this activity each month. We need additional help for each of the following months:
October: We need two additional parents.
November: We need two additional parents.
December: We need one additional parent.
January: We need one additional parent.
February: We need one additional parent.
April: We need three parents.
Homecoming plans are in place, but if you would like to help decorate for the Homecoming dance, you are welcome. Decorating will start at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, in the MP.

Senior Ribbons: Four parents have signed up for this activity, but we could use additional help. Diane Nahallage has offered to her calligraphy skills for the names, and Julie Tessel is going to try to update the design.

Senior Yard Signs:  Julie Steimle is heading up this project. Seven additional parents have signed up.
Senior Video: For this video we need three to four pictures of each senior -- one as a baby, and one each from elementary, middle school and high school. This is a huge undertaking, and we are very grateful that Chris Hursh has offered to oversee it.

Senior Fun Day: This is simply a day of fun for our seniors before graduation. We need more volunteers.
Senior Breakfast:  On the morning of graduation, we're providing a grab-and-go breakfast before the seniors board buses for their rehearsal.  This usually takes place in the lobby of the main gym from 7:30-9 a.m. We still need volunteers for this activity.

Senior Dinner:  This dinner is only for our seniors. Parents and siblings are invited to view the senior video after the dinner in the Performing Arts Center.  Allyson Stacey is overseeing this effort and needs additional volunteers.

Additional updates:

Jostens will be at Secondary Campus Oct. 23 for a senior class meeting. They will distribute information on graduation announcements, caps and gowns. They will return to take student orders on Nov. 1, 4-7 p.m. In the past this has taken place in the Performing Arts Center lobby.
Graduation is May 30.

This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1st, is "Graduation Announcements" time, Jostens will be in the lobby of the PAC from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. We also have "Graduation Announcements”time on Thursday, November 2nd, during high school lunch.
