Many thanks to Ms. Tina Reynolds and all of the cafeteria staff for a delicious Finneygiving meal yesterday! Please note that all students are required to take a 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable with every meal. If you do not want fruit or a vegetable, you can put them the share bin that will be located at the condiment area. This is a State and Federal regulation and must be followed. We also need to address the negative lunch balances, which total over $3,000!!!  If we do not start getting the negative balances down, we may have to take away snacks and drinks until the balance comes down. Please get your lunch balances taken care of by the end of November.

 

A big thanks to all staff and students who participated in the 1st annual dodgeball game! We collected over 100 canned goods which filled 6 large boxes! Well done, Wildcats!

The first annual Teachers vs. Students Dodgeball Game will go down tomorrow afternoon. Sign up in the library. To participate, please bring in an item on the Thanksgiving food drive list. Any questions, please ask Mrs. Walker in the library. Let the games begin! May the odds be ever in your favor.

 

Attention all students: our Finneygiving holiday meal with all the fixings will be offered tomorrow for $3.75. Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Apple crisp and a Salad bar will be located in the lunch room while the main meal will be in the kitchen with Turkey, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes and Mac ‘n Cheese (for vegetarians and/or side). From the Middle School ghouls and goblins in room 312, a howling THANK YOU to Mr. Pierce's high school students for being wicked cool guides and a ghoulish THANK YOU to everyone who came to our Haunted House! Because of your generosity, we were able to collect 119 canned goods that will be donated to the PTA Thanksgiving Food Drive. Happy Halloween, and may bat barf be with you!


Tonight is Treat the Hungry. Walk your chosen street (or streets) in Finneytown to pick up canned foods and other donated items to bring to to the MP from 6-9 in order for us to make a donation to the Freestore Food Bank of Cincinnati.

On Halloween night, walk your chosen street (or streets) in Finneytown to pick up canned foods and other donated items to bring to campus in order for us to make a donation to the Freestore Food Bank of Cincinnati. Although the wildcats suffered a hard blow from CHCA, legendary defender, Jacob Huff, returned to the pitch after a devastating loss of an eyebrow. Final score 4-1


The Ladycats went home with heavy hearts this Saturday after losing to Cincy Spirit. Eager to get back their momentum, they play away on Monday against Cincinnati Christian @ 5:00.


Drum Major Jay-con Huff led your Marching Wildcats to victory this past Saturday at their first competition of the season. The tempo was bumpin' and hats were flying as the Wildcats received best percussion and overall Grand Champion. Shoutout to Mr. Samuel Fronk.


Cross country had an awesome race on Saturday. MS Boys finished with great times and the MS Girls were glad not to run in the rain! Jessica Sanders got 4th for HS Girls, and Abby Jeffries placed in the top 30!

There will be no tennis practice today. Practice will be on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

8/31/18

 

Tonight's football game will be a BLACK-OUT!  Wear black and show your support for our football team. There will be students painting football stripes under students’ eyes during the game. All students are invited and encouraged to attend. Let’s show Gallatin County what Finneytown school spirit looks like!

 

Please join us at the football home opener tonight at 7 p.m. for a silent auction to raise funds for our cheer program. The silent auction will be located inside the admission gates near the Wildcat Cafe. Silent auction items will include Reds tickets, Thirty-One, LuLaRoe, and some additional fun gift baskets. We hope to see you there & we appreciate your support! Go Wildcats!!
