Parent Access Guide to Progress Book
The Finneytown Local School District uses ProgressBook to manage student attendance and grades. Parents can use this tool to stay apprised of their children’s academic performance. While teachers’ individual procedures can vary, most update ProgressBook on a weekly basis.
Finneytown Truancy Policy (Brochure)
Effective September 2, 2000, the Ohio laws governing school attendance changed. Governor Taft was the driving force behind legal definitions of habitual and chronic truants and moved to eliminate the problems that cause truancy.
Application for Minor Work Permit
The minor should return the completed form to the designated school personnel who will then issue the minor work permit based in part on the information contained on the pre-application.

Student Bullying Reporting System
Students and parents have access to the Student Bullying Reporting System, a 24/7 hotline and anonymous reporting system that allows for the reporting of harmful behavior in a non-threatening environment. 
This system immediately notifies principals of behaviors or threats so that they can intervene before a situation escalates.
